Important visitors in India

The IMTEX trade fair, which recently hosted 1,032 exhibitors from 24 countries and 89,000 trade visitors, is the most important international machine tool trade fair in South and South-East Asia. It is held every two years in Bangalore, one of India's largest industrial centres. Blum-Novotest GmbH was present at the trade fair for the sixth time with its Indian subsidiary. Wolfgang Pfleghar, who is responsible in BLUM's international sales operations, draws a completely positive balance.

The crowning moment of the seven-day event (26.01.2017 - 01.02.2017) was definitely the visit of a delegation headed by Winfried Kretschmann, the prime minister of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, to the Blum-Novotest GmbH stand. The delegation, which visited the Bangalore trade fair during a 1-week tour of the region, also included economic affairs minister, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut and several permanent secretaries. They took the opportunity to find out more about the high quality production measurement technology of Blum-Novotest GmbH. The prominent visitors were visibly impressed, especially by the wide range of applications of BLUM laser measuring systems and by the fact that this medium-sized family-owned company is the clear world leader in this sector.

Blum-Novotest has been present in India with a subsidiary in Bangalore since 2011. With a total of 15 subsidiaries worldwide, the family-owned company has been internationally active for several decades now.
