The "robot gearbox" test bench is designed for the evaluation and testing of various lubricants (oils and greases) in various (low-backlash and high-precision) reduction gearboxes.

The test bench can be used to perform or enables endurance tests on reduction gear units under variable (but not highly dynamic) operating conditions in terms of torque and rotational speed in automatic mode using various test programs. These types of reduction gear units are used, for example, in industrial robots (articulated arm robots).

The following reduction gears can be tested:

  • various widths (max. 150 mm)
  • different sizes (max. diameter 330 mm)
  • from different manufacturers
